The performance and application scenarios of aluminum honeycomb panels depend on their thickness, core material structure and surface treatment process. 1. Thickness selection
The total thickness of aluminum honeycomb panels is usually between 10mm-100mm, which needs to be determined according to the application scenario:
Building curtain wall: 15mm-25mm is recommended, taking into account both strength and lightness; high-rise buildings need to be thicker (more than 25mm) to enhance wind pressure resistance.
Indoor decoration: 10mm-15mm can meet the needs of partitions, ceilings, etc.
Industrial use: such as ships, carriages, etc., require more than 25mm to ensure bearing capacity and earthquake resistance.
2. Core material type
The honeycomb core material directly affects the strength and weight of the panel:

Aramid paper honeycomb core: lighter, but more expensive, mostly used in aerospace.
